A free pregnancy program supporting pre and postnatal women until six months postpartum.
Behavioural Consultant & Support Program
The Behavioural Consultant provides behavioural support services for eligible children and their families/caregivers, enabling them to function as effectively as possible within their communities. This includes individualized support to create and implement behaviour support plans.
Children & Youth With Support Needs
The CYSN Program, located in Merritt, provides group work and individualized services to children and youth between 6-18 years old, who have support needs, and their families.
Early Connections
The Early Connections Program supports families in building healthy attachments through individual and/or group work.
Early Years Family Navigation
The Early Years Family Navigator connects families to community programs and links them with services available for pregnant women and families with children from newborn to 6 years of age.
Families First
A home visiting support program for anyone who is pregnant or parenting a child under 6 months old. Parents can stay in the program until their child is 3 years of age.
Family Preservation Program
The Family Preservation Program is an outreach service in Merritt providing intensive support to families experiencing challenges.
Family Service Program
An outreach intervention services to children and youth, and their families, if they are experiencing difficulties.
First Steps
Education, life skills, and parenting program for young parents who have not graduated high school.
Healthy Beginnings
A weekly drop in group for parents and caregivers of children from newborn to six years of age. Groups are offered in various Interior communities.
In-Office Counselling
A family counselling program offering 6 to 8 sessions, generally within a 90 day period, at no charge.
Mind Over Madder (Adults and Children)
Mind over Madder is a 9-week group designed to support participants in learning conflict management skills. Three different groups are offered to service adults, and children (8-12).
Parenting, Attachment & Individual Development (P.A.I.D)
This program provides an encouraging and supportive environment for parents to learn and try new parenting and life skills.
Supervised & Supportive Visitation
The Supervised Visitation program provides an opportunity for children and parents to spend time together in a safe and healthy environment.
Support to Family Care Network (STFC)
The Support to Family Care Network provides education, training and support to foster parents, out of care/kinship and contracted agency caregivers in the Thompson, Cariboo, Revelstoke, East and West Kootenay areas.
