Mobile Crisis Outreach Response for Youth
The Mobile Crisis Outreach Response for Youth, a partnership between ICS and the City of Kamloops, addresses gaps in after-hours services for at-risk youth involved in street-level activities or requiring immediate assistance. This program pairs Youth Outreach Workers with Community Safety Officers to provide transportation, crisis intervention, and follow-up support.
The Mobile Crisis Outreach Response for Youth program provides:
- Immediate crisis response and case management.
- Harm reduction materials and mental health first aid.
- Safe transportation to shelters or services.
- Connections to youth-focused resources, housing, and care.
- Advocacy and safety planning.
Who Is Eligible?
Homeless and at risk youth ages 13 – 24.
