Leadership and Governance
Interior Community Services offers a strong leadership team. Headed by a board of directors and facilitated through our executive officer.
Dan Steenburgh – Central Executive Officer

Interior Community Services exists to enrich lives and strengthen communities — a mission that comes to life every day through our staff, volunteers, and the many partners who stand with us.
Since joining ICS, I’ve been inspired by how people work together: programs collaborating across agencies, partners making sure support is there when it’s needed most, and teams responding with care, commitment, and expertise. I feel honored to be part of an organization and communities so deeply committed to supporting those who need us most.
We serve children, youth, adults, and seniors through integrated supports — from family and youth services to community living, housing, food security, and the upcoming Foundry Kamloops youth hub. Our supports are person‑centred and strengths‑based, grounded in dignity, choice, and inclusion. We work collaboratively with municipalities, Indigenous communities, health and education partners, and community organizations to reduce barriers and ensure the best possible outcomes for those who seek our services.
I’m thankful to the many who offer their time, expertise, and heart to this important work. I’m proud to lead ICS and excited for what we’ll accomplish together!
– Dan Steenburgh, CEO
